Software Engineer

We're looking for an exceptional, experienced Software Engineer to join our team and take ownership of production systems at the core of our technology.

This is a fully hands-on role. You'll work in a fast-moving environment where priorities, interfaces, and requirements can change quickly, and where strong engineers are expected to adapt, make good decisions, and ship reliably.

What you'll do

• Build, improve, and maintain production-grade systems.
• Work extensively with structured and tabular data.
• Own multiple systems in production and ensure they remain reliable as requirements evolve.
• Adapt quickly to changes in APIs, interfaces, data sources, and business priorities.
• Work closely with researchers and engineers to turn ideas into robust production systems.
• Diagnose problems quickly and take ownership from implementation through deployment and operation.

• Strong software engineering experience and excellent technical fundamentals.
• Demonstrated experience working with tabular and structured data.
• A track record that shows a consistently high level of technical performance.
• Ability to move quickly without compromising engineering quality.
• Strong ownership and comfort managing several production systems simultaneously.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to operate independently.
• Strong references from people who have worked closely with you.
